Job Title: Electrician / EEHA Electrician / E&I Technician Position: Permanent Location: Surat Basin Roster: 14:7 Hours: 10/11hr days Rate: $73-$82ph (Flat Rate) Dependant on tickets (3.5% increase 2026) Allowances: Site Allowances Meals, Accommodation & Travel About the Role: Core Talent working with a leading contractor who specialises in Oil & Gas, Infrastructure and Energy Project across QLD. They are currently seeking an experienced Electricians, EEHA Electricians and E&I Technicians to support a major installation project in the Surat Basin. Key Responsibilities: Installation of wellsite infrastructure which includes: Earthing Cable ladder infrastructure High voltage terminations (3.3kv) Instrumentation termination (PIT’s, Flow, and shut off valves) Low voltage cable installation Communication termination Testing and all completions requirements Electrical and instrumentation installation, testing, and upgrades Operation and troubleshooting of equipment Field and workshop breakdown repairs HAVD dossier creation, auditing, and program improvement Scheduling and planning of field and in-house work General workshop electrical repairs (lighting, sockets, etc.) Power tool testing and tagging with record keeping Documenting troubleshooting guides and flowcharts Supervising subcontractors on-site and in the workshop Collaborating with engineers on design verification About You: You’ll bring at least 5 years’ experience post qualification, and either be fully qualified with your EEHA and Instrumentation certs or willing to obtain these. This client is ideally seeking people with relevant Oil & Gas experience, however, is happy to train the right person and put them through all relevant courses.
